Today, I'm going to show you some Japanese lunch boxes from the anime Breach, because one of my friend asked me about it. When he was watching that anime and it was translated a Bento box. He has never heard that word. A bento box is a lunch box.There are many kind of lunch box in the world.

What does Bento mean?
Any kind of food in a container that you would eat for a quick meal; but Bento doesn't have to be in a container. It can be a big meal or small meal.
The reason lunch box is translated to bento box in the anime Breach is because the majority of people watching the show recognize bento box as being the word for lunch box.
Two types of bento boxes
The most common bento box
You can make bento boxes half rice if you want with side dishes.
There are some bento boxes with chopstick holder on the top of the bento box lid.
A bento box with 2 parts
On the bottom box you put rice and for the top are side dishes.
Most of bento boxes are wrapped in a handkerchief when you go out and open it to use as a small table cloth when you eat.
Girl's bento box
In school, many girls have much smaller bento boxes than boys have.
There are three main reasons why this occurs.
First, boys usually eat more than girls.
Second, it keeps them from becoming over weight.
Third, it enhances their performance.
